On Sep. 20, 2009, Shenzhen Co-power Venture Capital Co., Ltd ("Co-power VC") and Beijing Herun Detang Media and Advertising Co., Ltd ("Herun Media") entered into a formal investment agreement, according to which Co-power VC shall make a total investment of RMB20M in Herun Media. Recently, the capital injection of RMB10M at the first phase has been completed, with 33% of equity stake in Herun Media being owned by Co-power VC.
Established in 2007, Herun Media is mainly engaged in development and sale of branded content marketing platforms. It is focusing on the major three lines of business, e.g. branded content ads on movies and teleplays (embedded ads), integrated marketing of branded contents (off-line promotion), public relations of branded contents (publicity and promotion for movies and teleplays).
Leveraging movies, teleplays and TV programs as the main platform, Herun Media has gradually expanded to the Internet, 3G, outdoor new media and other content areas to provide brand customers with integrated solutions in terms of advertising, public relations and marketing, which are based on content communication. Currently, it has operated branded content marketing in "My Youthfulness", "I'm A Boss" and other popular teleplays for more than 40 domestic and overseas famous brands, such as Mengniu, Yili, Arawana, Jinliufu, Ping An Insurance, among others.
Co-power VC, founded in 2008, always fixes its eyes on such companies with high-growth potentials in the field of TMT and other areas. With a registered capital of RMB40M, Co-power VC is based in Shenzhen as a member of Shenzhen Venture Capital Association.
