On March 16, Chengdu Dongchuang SBI Innovation Street project (SBI project) was started in Wenjiang. This project was initiated by Wuhan Eastlake Hi-tech Innovation Center (Eastlake Innovation Center), China's first incubator. The SBI project is expected to be completed within two years to hold 200 enterprises and about ten thousand employees.

Located in the Chengdu  Cross-Strait Science and Technology Park, the project is initiated by Eastlake Innovation Center. Chengdu Hi-tech Education Science Park Incubating Co., Ltd. also participated in the launch.

According to Wei Gong, Director of the Center, Eastlake Innovation Center is to establish five market connecting centers in Eastern China, Southern China, Northern China, Southwestern China and Central China, to help SMEs develop. Therein, its southwestern market connecting center Chengdu SBI project will be taken as a key project.

Based on the agreement reached between the investor and Wenjiang district government, SBI project covers 110 mu. The whole construction will be completed with RMB500M within two years.
