Yaolan.com announced on March 20 that it secured Series C US$17.10M funding from the prior investors Sutter Hill Ventures and Chengwei Ventures, Foundation Capital and NSA Investments also participated in this round.

Yaolan.com, officially launched in 1999, is a vertical site providing professional mother & baby information and services. It offers services and information from mothers-to-be preparing for pregnancy to six-year-old enfants.

The investment proceeds will go to update the product line, develop core products, recruit talents, and enhance the marketing and brand promotion. Reportedly, the new products being researched of Yaolan.com won this investment deal.
