Legend Capital announced on April 1 that it will conduct the follow-on investment US$15M to Shanghai New Sihe Wood Co., Ltd. (New Sihe Wood), a lead three-layer real wood floor manufacturer. In October 2007, the company received US$20M from Legend Capital. Thus, it has so far obtained US$35M, becoming one of the domestic wood enterprises securing large amount of funding.

Zhenzhong Xu, COO of New Sihe Wood, said this round was led by DCM, and Legend Capital participated in the round. All the capital currently has entered the account.

New Sihe Wood is a joint venture between Sihe Wood and oversea investors. It is engaged in manufacturing three-layer real wood floors. New Sihe Wood started its business in Europe, and deployed its market layout in North America and China. It currently opened 50 stores in China and conducted promotion activities to forge its brand. After the deal, the company will become one of domestic wood manufactures garnering largest amount of VC investment, facilitating it to debut on A-share market in 2009.
