IBM recently announced that it has purchased shares of China Communications Services Corporations Limited (CCS) for US$20 million through the "China Investment Fund" business alliance.

As a production service enterprise controlled by China Telecom Group, CCS provides integrated telecommunications support service to telecommunications operators, equipment manufacturers, corporate clients, and government organizations in China, ranging from network construction, business process outsourcing, to content and applications services.

The "China Investment Fund" business alliance's investment will further promote the cooperation between China Communications Services and IBM, make more categories of services available to their common customers - both individual consumers and enterprise clients, enhance the customer service quality, foster the virtuous-circle mode of "double-win to multi-win", and subsequently expand more innovative businesses.
