Reportedly, Robeco Private Equity Fund under Robeco Investment Management Group invested China Environment Energy Fund under the Tsinghua University. This commands the first deal for the PE fund.

Andrew Musters, Senior Vice President of Robeco Group and Partner of Robeco Private Equity Fund, said the group is very interested in investing in the China's clean energy sector and shows confidence of China's future economic development.

Robeco Investment Management Group is one of the few large-scale pure investment management groups. With nearly 80-year international investment experience, the group manages over US$200B assets. Currently, it owns five professional investment institutions distributed in 12 countries, and approximately 2000 investment professionals.

Musters considers that they choose investment targets from the following three indices: First, the management team; Second, the technology matters; Third, the potential market for the products or services.
