Advanced Battery Technologies Inc. listed on NASDAQ on May 4, marking another China-based private company debuting on that exchange.

The company, headquartered in Heilongjiang province, was established in 2002. It was listed on OTC Bulletin Board via reverse takeover (RTO) in 2004, and was approved to list on AMEX in October 2007. Later in February of this year, the company was switched to go public on NASDAQ.

The company mainly specializes in the R&D, manufacture, and sales of the polymer lithium - lon (PLI) batteries and other related products. At present it has the daily 5Ah production capacity line for the PLI battery and daily 1000 pieces of assembly line for miner's lamp. In addition, the company has been dedicated to the R&D of the nano material battery technology, and applied for patent in the US.
