According to the latest news from Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Government of Singapore Investment Corporation Pte. Ltd (GIC) purchased 250 million shares priced at HK$7.45 each of Beijing Capital Airport (Capital Airport) for HK$1.9B on May 30.
After this deal, the shareholding of GIC increased to 16.42% of the enlarged shares of Capital Airport, exceeding 15.05% held by Julius Baer Investment Management LLC. GIC became the third largest shareholder of Capital Airport after Vinci Concessions SA (28.54%).
Capital Airport allotted 284.7 million H shares, raising RMB2.1B in total. The stake its parent company holds will be diluted to 56.6% from 61.3%.
