Days ago, Blue Ridge China and KPCB invested US$30M into Jiangxi Tianren Zoology Industrial Co., Ltd. (Jiangxi Tianren), a biological pesticide enterprise.

Jiangxi Tianren is a domestic leading biological pesticide enterprise, and also the largest-ever beauveria manufacturer across China. Its innovative product fungus-originated pesticide series are typical of high-efficiency and environment-friendliness, without social effects pollution or residue, or drug-resistance. They can be widely used in pest prevention & cure in agriculture and forestry.

Justin Tang, Founding Partner of Blue Ridge China which led this round, said Jiangxi Tianren realizes sustainable development in agriculture because it contributes considerable social benefits apart from the economic benefits. Blue Ridge China and KPCB China Fund will fully back the development of Jiangxi Tianren.
