Reportedly, Heyspace secured Series B US$20M PE investment days ago, following the first-round US$5.5M investment a year ago.

Sources disclosed this round commands the largest PE deal in TMT industry so far. However, Heyspace has not yet to disclose the deal in detail, including the specific investors.

Heyspace officially disclosed the investors were US-based family investors, each with assets worth US$5B; the investment proceeds will be used to the further R&D and integration, and to construct the marketing channel, with a goal to launch its video community services for grasping more market shares in the Greater China Region.

Heyspace is a comprehensive network platform providing Internet, wireless network and local PC client services. Meanwhile, the site offers other network community services including personnel relationship, sentiment, vocation, writing, and online games.
