Dongguan Songshan Lake Venture Capital Management Co., Ltd. announced its establishment in May 2008, becoming the first VC management company across Dongguan city.

Reportedly, Songshan Lake Venture Capital Fund, initiated by the VC management company, is raising funds. This fund will mainly invest in high growth enterprises in Pearl River Delta area through equity investment, convertible bonds or new shares subscription, to increase its short-term investment proceeds.    

"This Fund will adopt partnership mechanism to raise RMB300 million.  The first batch of LPs should invest at least RMB10 million each." According to surnamed Wu, principal of Songshan Lake Venture Capital Management Co., Ltd., this Fund has screened out 20 deals, including two Dongguan-based ones.
