Sichuan Shengda Forestry Industry Co., Ltd. (002259) was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on July 16. Shengda Forestry collectively offered 55 million shares. A total of 44 million shares issued via Internet were floated on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange with issue price of RMB4.56 per share.

As one of the typical domestic representative enterprises using "forestry plus floor" business model, Shengda Forestry's core business is tree planting and operating, research and development, production and sale as well as R&D, production and sales of both mid (high) density fiberboard and other wood based panels and wood floorings (including laminate flooring, solid wood flooring, bamboo flooring, and engineered flooring).  The company took the second place on national market in terms of laminate flooring sales for many consecutive years. In 2006, the company ranked No. 1 in sales of bamboo floorings.

The company will use the proceeds to invest and establish a mid (high) density fiberboard assembly line project with annual production capability of 220,000 cubic meters in Guangyuan, Sichuan. After the project is finished, the company will form a joint development and integration pattern of "trees, mid density fiberboard and wood flooring". This pattern will help improve the company's comprehensive gross margin rate, and effectively resist the risks brought by a single product structure.
